Monkeyjam: A Quick Look – If you’re running Windows XP this is a pretty cool image capture program… and it’s free.

Basic Resources - This is a quickie rundown list of the types of materials and equipment we use at Reed to do our animation. We have Macs there so we run a really cool OSX only program from Boinx software called iStopmotion.

Also: To get an idea of the kind of animation we will be doing this summer check out our video at reed page here. I will be posting our animation this summer at either youtube or vimeo, not sure which yet.  More Later

On wednesday we tried our hands at some stop-motion animation using oil-based clay. About 12 students took turns animating this very short clip. Tomorrow we'll try some more.
